WAYS TO SEE GREAT BRITAIN: CURIOUS PLACES AND SURPRISING PERSPECTIVES

‘This book makes a great gift – the sort of gift you buy for a friend, then end up not really wanting to give away! It’s beautifully designed, and contains a series of walks from all corners of Great Britain, a must if you’re a keen explorer of this lovely land, but also great fun if you’re an armchair hiker. The author has described her journeys wonderfully, yet what sets this book apart are the illustrations, which evoke the different locations in a non-literal way, so you get the feelings and senses of the places without having them overexplained. It’s just a lovely item for any bookshelf, a travel guide and coffee table art book rolled into one. Recommended.’

‘I can highly recommend this book. I bought it for my parents (who lives in Sweden) who are keen hikers and they are now embarking on their first hiking trip in UK!’
